When You are Joining
Whether you are an experienced CrossFitter, or trying it for the first time, our high touch environment will become evident the first time we talk to you. You will notice that we place a lot of emphasis on your well-being as a member. We want to know all about you. Where you are from, how did you find out about CrossFit, what are you looking to achieve? When we looked at other CrossFit Pittsburgh area gyms, we noticed that this was lacking . . . a lot.
When you are ready to come to Industrial Athletics and check us out, we never simply throw you into one of our regular classes. If you are new to CrossFit, you start with a free introduction. We take time to show you what CrossFit is all about. Then, you enter our Fundamentals Program where we teach you everything you need to know to join the regular CrossFit class.
If you are an experienced CrossFitter, we want to know how you move in a controlled environment. We call this the free assessment. You set up a time with one of our experienced coaches to review the movements we teach in the Fundamentals Program. We fix any gross movement issues, explain our culture, and tell you about everything else you need to know.
Once in Our CrossFit Class
The high touch environment continues once you are in our regular class. We don’t believe in sitting there simply watching the clock and telling people what to do. We have a proven system to make sure everyone in class receives the attention he or she needs to move, move safely, and improve the quality of his or her movement.
